With just over a week remaining in the regular season, the Cowboys earned the top seed in the playoffs with a strong effort vs. the Saints.  The Patriots are making a bid to claim the second seed after a win over the Eagles in extra innings. 

Over in the North, the Titans are making a bid for a bye and have closed to within a game of the Jets. With just one win seperating the teams, this week's games will be key in determining the seeds. 

Round 1 of the playoffs, fondly termed "the stinkoffs", will take place over 2 evenings on August 14th and 15th.  After the final eight are determined, teams will be seeded by record and will play a best of three series in each round until a champion is determined.  Good luck to everyone!

Other important dates will be our first annual all star game to be played on Sunday, September 9th.  2 players from each team will be selected to determine if the North or South division is superior.  The year end banquet will be held on September 14th.
