TriTown Flag Football Open to all boys and girls Ages 3 to 15

Saturday Afternoons at the Boxford Common

  • Fall Season – September to Early November
  • Spring Season – Late March to Early June

Flag Football is a fun and rapidly growing sport that introduces players to the fundamentals of football in a non-contact format.

Boys and Girls ages 3-15 are eligible to play and are placed in age groups on teams with a maximum of 12 players (usually 10 or less) to maximize playing time.

Coed Age Groups:

  • Lil Ballerz - 3-5 yr  introductory program – learn the basics - no games - usually early afternoon
  • 6U (4-6 yr) game format / no playoffs
  • 8U
  • 10U
  • 12U
  • 15U

Boxford children participate in the

TriTown Division of the

New England Flag Football League.

  • Players registering from Boxford will be placed on teams that primarily include other Boxford children and may also include players Middleton and/or Topsfield.
  • Each season is 7 weeks long. Teams usually have a 15 min practice before their game. Each game consists of two 20 min halves.
  • So the weekly time commitment is about 1.5hrs per week and most children participate in Flag Football in addition to their primary Fall  or Spring Sport.

More information on the league and registration is available at http://www.newenglandflagfootball.com in the Tritown sections
