OUR MISSION: 

The mission of the Masco Youth Field Hockey Program is to instill confidence into our young athletes. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, trusting environment for our athletes to develop their skills and passion for the game. We strive to learn, develop and compete in representing our three towns.

2024 MYFH SEASON INFORMATION

Welcome to returning and new players! Whether you have played since kindergarten or are new to the sport, we welcome all levels of ability.  Even if you have never picked up a field hockey stick we are excited to welcome new players to the sport we love so much!

Kindergarten Division:   SUNDAY 8-9 AM

1-2 Grade Division:         TUESDAY 5-6 PM

3-4 Grade Division:         THURSDAY 5-6 PM

5-6 Grade Division:         TUES& THURS 5-6:30 PM

7-8 Grade Division:         MON & WED 3:15 - 4:45 PM

ALL PRACTICES AND HOME GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT THE BOXFORD COMMONS. SUNDAY IS GAME DAY FOR GRADES 1 - 8. 

*New session for Kindergarten players ONLY "Mini Sticks Squad":  Each Sunday, we will introduce the game of field hockey to your player. Sessions will run for 6 weeks. 

REGISTRATION FEES:

Mini Stick Squad:        $100 per player

1-2 Grade Division:   $130 per player

3-4 Grade Division:   $130 per player

5-6 Grade Division:   $170 per player

7-8 Grade Division:   $170 per player

Also, please know that we want to be sure every child has the opportunity to play Field Hockey as much as they'd like without placing a financial burden on the family.  If the Summer Field Hockey camp or MYFH registration fees present a financial hardship, please reach out directly to the directors at mascoyouthfieldhockey@gmail.com  and we will privately discuss scholarship opportunities.

MYFH is now a member of the Baystate Youth Field Hockey League. The League will be releasing our Sunday Game Schedule for all teams by mid-late August.  Stay tuned for team schedules and more league info! Visit the league website at https://baystateyouthfieldhockey.com

Equipment Required

• Field hockey stick (check out our FH 101 page for stick measurements)

• Turf shoes or sneakers for turf play.  No cleats on turf field. Some Games may be played on grass....please be prepared to have cleats when grass game is noted on your schedule

• Molded mouth guard

• Protective eye gear approved for field hockey.  Most lacrosse goggles are NOT legal for field hockey.  Field hockey goggles must have the front vertical bars.  

• Goalies: MYFH has goalie equipment available
